1. Who processes your information
Students4EU operates this admissions-guidance website and student application portal. Questions about personal data can be sent to contact@students4eu.eu.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process account details, contact information, education history, application choices, uploaded identity and education documents, medical or language documents required by a selected faculty, application progress, administrator review notes and technical security logs.
3. Why we use it
We use information to create and protect your account, organise faculty-specific applications, show completion progress, review submitted information, respond to questions, maintain security, comply with applicable obligations and improve service reliability.
4. Legal grounds
Processing may be necessary to provide the service you request, take steps connected with your application, meet legal obligations, protect legitimate security and operational interests, or rely on consent where consent is the appropriate basis. Special-category information is handled only where required for the application and an applicable legal basis exists.
5. Access and recipients
Your documents are not public. Access is limited to you and authorised Students4EU administrators who manage applications. Information may be shared with the relevant university or service providers only where needed for the requested process, under appropriate safeguards and instructions.
6. International transfers
Because applicants may access the platform from outside the European Economic Area, data can be transmitted internationally when you use the service. Any transfer to an external provider must use an appropriate legal mechanism where required.
7. Retention
Account and application data is retained only for as long as necessary for the application, support, security and applicable legal obligations. A production retention schedule must be confirmed before launch. Deleting an application permanently also deletes its associated private documents from the platform.
8. Security
We use access controls, email verification, protected document storage and authenticated downloads. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; users must protect their password and notify us of suspected unauthorised access.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. You may also contact the competent data-protection authority. Some requests may be limited by legal or application-record obligations.
10. Cookies and changes
See the Cookie Policy for current browser storage. We may update this notice when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page.
